NFL Playoffs Sunday: Rams can end Brady's and Bucs’ title hopes

Two more competitive clashes are expected on Sunday night as games at Raymond James Stadium and Arrowhead bring the NFL playoff Divisional Round to a conclusion.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to retain their Super Bowl crown this season, but against a hungry Los Angeles’ defense, it might well be the Rams who go a step closer to what would be a home Super Bowl appearance at SoFi Stadium on February 13.

Los Angeles Rams (12-5) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (13-4)

Sunday 8.00 PM (UK time)

Match Odds: Rams 2.3 | Buccaneers 1.74

While the Bucs breezed to a 31-15 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in the wild card round, there were some troubling signs from Tampa Bay’s offensive line ahead of the Rams' arrival this weekend.

The Eagles were able to penetrate the line with what looked like relative ease at times, which meant quarterback Tom Brady looked very exposed during the win on home turf.

Following that victory over Philly, there are concerns that right tackle Tristan Wirfs and center Ryan Jensen might not be fit for the clash with the Rams as they are both nursing ankle injuries.

Even if Wirfs and Jensen do make it onto the field, it’s highly-unlikely they will be at full fitness and that’s an area the Rams’ rugged defense will look to exploit on Sunday.

Rams’ QB Matthew Stafford impressed last week as he secured his first playoff win thanks to a 34-11 win over the Arizona Cardinals.

With Stafford on form and the Bucs’ having their injury issues, especially in that offensive line, it looks like the visitors might be able edge this one down in Florida.

Tip: Rams to win at 2.3

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes faces a duel with his Bills opposite number Josh Allen

Buffalo Bills (11-6) @ Kansas City Chiefs (12-5)

Sunday 11.30 PM (UK time)

Match Odds: Bills 2.14 | Chiefs 1.83

This encounter at Arrowhead Stadium could be the pick of the playoff games this weekend with two gunslinging quarterbacks in Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes set to star for the Bills and the Chiefs respectively.

Points are on the cards as both teams will look to throw the football around in what should be a thrilling contest.

Allen managed to guide the Bills to a 38-29 victory in their last meeting with the Chiefs in Kansas City earlier this season.

Buffalo know they can go down to Missouri to get a result and, after thrashing the New England Patriots 47-17 last time out, confidence will be high in the Bills’ camp.

The Chiefs are a quality outfit but the momentum seems to be more with the Bills who could make it two wins from two for the road teams on Sunday night.

Tip: Bills to win at 2.14
