SBK ambassadors Richard Kingscote, Sean Levey, Nicola Currie and George Boughey have a handful of chances this weekend. We caught up with them for a quick chat about their runners.
Richard Kingscote, jockey: “John Leeper (2.20 York) is a decent horse on his day. He has a few pounds to find with the other two runners, but that is doable if he puts his best foot forward.”
John Leeper is currently available at 4.3 on SBK.
Sean Levey, jockey: “Isaac Shelby (3.15 Newmarket) is a very nice horse. He was incredibly impressive at Newbury and we've been looking forward to running him again. The form has worked out remarkably well and seven furlongs shouldn't be a problem."
Isaac Shelby is currently available at 5.2 on SBK.
Nicola Currie, jockey: “Oscula (3.43) goes to Chester for the Listed race. She is a very consistent, tough and versatile filly. She handles the track and the George Boughey yard couldn’t be in better form, so she goes there with a live chance.”
Oscula is currently available at 5.2 on SBK.
George Boughey, trainer: “Lovely Mana (3.00 Ascot) has been a bit of a revelation recently. She has started to put on weight and she just keeps stepping forward. She’s in great form and I hope that she can progress again under Saffie Osborne, who takes off 3lb.”
Lovely Mana is currently available at 10.5 on SBK.
