SBK ambassadors Richard Kingscote, Sean Levey and George Boughey have a handful of chances this weekend. We caught up with them for a quick chat about their runners.
Richard Kingscote, jockey: “Bounce The Blues (3.15 Newmarket) has shown good form at this level but often struggles to get a smooth trip. Hopefully I can get her a nice run through and see what she can do.
“I also ride Tucson Cloud in the 3.50. She got on top late last time and hopefully the step up to a mile and a half will bring about improvement.”
Bounce The Blues and Tucson Cloud are currently available at 17 and 2.86 respectively on SBK.
Sean Levey, jockey: “Pure Dreamer (8.00 Doncaster) is in super form. The step up to seven furlongs, the ground and the track will suit - he has got a great chance. All-in-all, he has an awful lot going for him and can defy this mark.”
Pure Dreamer is currently available at 3.35 on SBK.
George Boughey, trainer: “We run two in the Listed Empress Fillies’ Stakes (2.05) at Newmarket and I’m hopeful that both will be in the shake-up.
"Malrescia is in good form and intentionally missed Royal Ascot, where her form was franked by Queen Mary winner Dramatised, who beat her on debut. She’s been impressive on both her subsequent starts and should like the forecast decent ground. She looks like she could be drawn away from the pace, but she goes there with a solid chance.
“Believing was due to run in the Albany at Royal Ascot but was withdrawn at the start. She requires a successful stalls test on Friday evening to enable her to run, but she’s a nice filly with obvious credentials.”
Malrescia and Believing are currently available at 5.7 and 8.4 respectively on SBK.
