SBK ambassadors Nicola Currie, Sean Levey and Classic-winning trainer George Boughey give us the lowdown on their best opportunities of a winner this weekend.
Nicola Currie, jockey: “Dream Harder goes to Lingfield. He was an unlucky loser last time out at Nottingham. He’s very lightly raced and he’s still gaining experience. He found his rhythm late on at Nottingham and I think a return to the all-weather will suit. The step up in trip will also be to his advantage.”
Dream Harder runs in the 17:40 at Lingfield on Saturday.
Sean Levey, jockey: “Pure Dreamer is in very good form. His run at Doncaster in defeat showed us that 7f wasn't for him. The drop back to 6f will suit. He has worked very well this week and we think he will go very close in this contest.”
Pure Dreamer is currently available at 4.4 on SBK.
George Boughey, trainer: "Air To Air was a good horse last year but he’s now really started to put it together as a mature four-year-old. He’s from the family of Air Pilot who didn’t get going until five. He goes to Ascot with a good chance. He wants decent ground which he’ll get and we hope he’ll be very competitive."
Air To Air is currently available at 9.8 on SBK.
