SBK ambassadors Richard Kingscote, Sean Levey and Classic-winning trainer George Boughey are back in action at Epsom this weekend. We caught up with them for a quick chat about their chances of a winner.
Richard Kingscote, jockey: “I’m really looking forward to riding Desert Crown at Epsom (4.30) on Saturday and the team at home are very happy with him. I’m confident that he will stay the Derby trip and, although the track is an unknown at this stage, he is a well-balanced horse and we can only hope for the best on that front.”
Desert Crown is currently available at 2.86 on SBK.
Sean Levey, jockey: “He runs in a very competitive handicap (2.35, Friday), but Oh This Is Us is well at home and should run a big race. He’s an Epsom specialist, so he is always worth keeping on your side here.”
Oh This Is Us is currently available at 10 on SBK.
George Boughey, trainer: “Oscula is in good form. She had a nice break after her trip to Saudi Arabia and the return to Epsom, where the ground is in her favour, will definitely suit. She’s got a good draw on Friday (5.10) and we’re hopeful that she will run very well.”
Oscula is currently available at 2.74 on SBK.
