Ambassador Weekend Preview: "He is my best ride of the day"

SBK ambassadors Richard Kingscote, Sean Levey and George Boughey are back in action this weekend and we caught up with them for a quick chat.
Richard Kingscote, jockey: "My best chance is definitely Imperium, who runs in the Queen's Prize Handicap (2.40) at Kempton on Saturday. Now that he’s heading back to Kempton, I think we will see a better horse. He definitely prefers this track to Newcastle, where he ran last time. That race turned into a two-furlong dash and he still ran well. He’s a very capable animal but this is a competitive race - the Godolphin-owned Bandinelli, who looked a strong stayer when he was last seen, looks the one to beat. Imperium has his quirks but he is my best ride of the day."
Sean Levey, jockey: "Everyone is absolutely delighted with Happy Romance, who runs in the 1.35 at Meydan on Saturday. She did a light piece of work on Friday and she’s in top form ahead of tomorrow’s sprint at Meydan. It’s a tough race but she’s come on for her run in Saudi Arabia and I’d like to think that she can go close."
George Boughey, trainer: "Anythingtoday has been running well all winter and goes in the 3.45 at Doncaster on Sunday. He’s slightly hanging onto his coat a bit but this warm weather has really brought him forward. He seems to thrive through the summer and, although he’s an old boy at eight now, he should run a big race with Ben Curtis back on board."
Kingscote: "I also ride Chichester in the Listed Magnolia Stakes (2.05 Kempton). He’s running off a career-high mark after winning on his penultimate outing last year. He never got competitive in the Cambridgeshire and this will be a big learning curve for connections as to where they are with him this year. Richard Hannon’s Fancy Man is top-rated and Al Zaraqaan could bounce back with first-time blinkers now that he’s back at Kempton - I don’t think Lingfield suits that horse - so, although Chichester has class, he looks up against it in this race.
Kingscote: "Mujtaba is favourite and could be anything as he was three-from-three last year, but Andrew Balding’s Notre Belle Bete is fit and he could well give him a race. It’s a race that is usually won by a Group horse and Mujtaba could be just that."
Boughey: "It’s Modern News for me in the Lincoln. Harry Davies, who is probably going to be a feature on the flat this year, takes off a huge 7lb. He ran a massive race in a Listed race in Dubai six weeks ago and reports sound pretty good. Drawn in stall eight, he should have every chance."
