The Accumulator: the five best bets to stick in your Saturday multiples

Landing a huge combination bet on the weekend is the ultimate dream for most of us, so look no further than our weekly guide to what you should be including in yours.
Any decent multiple has to include plenty of football so let's start with Denmark's trip to the Netherlands. Never underestimate Denmark in international football, writes Robin Bairner. Although they ended 2022 with a defeat against Scotland, that match was a dead rubber to them and meant everything to their hosts, while they were also chronically depleted.
Prior to that, they had been undefeated through 90 minutes in 10 internationals, including a run to the semi-finals of Euro 2020. The Netherlands, meanwhile, remain rather more unpredictable, as demonstrated by their abrupt European Championship exit to the Czech Republic at the last-16 stage. They have amassed a seven-match undefeated run in the aftermath, but aside from a key home win over Norway have not beaten anyone of note. Denmark have got what it takes to avoid defeat in this game.
Staying with the internationals, are Finland the new Iceland, asks Robin Bairner. Certainly, there have been hints of them beginning to punch above their weight thanks to qualification for Euro 2020, and then making a strong fist at qualifying for the World Cup in a tough group that included France and Ukraine. Iceland, meanwhile, have come down from their high of going to the knockout stages of Euro 2016, and in recent months have sunk back into mediocrity. Indeed, since the pandemic shutdown of the world in early 2020, they have only beaten Romania, Canada, Liechtenstein (twice) and the Faroe Islands. The odds on Finland here are too good to ignore.
Moving on to the EFL, we have plenty of action in Leagues One and Two, and Liz Byrnes has picked out a couple of decent-looking shouts from the basement. Carlisle are 12 points above the League Two drop zone thanks to a run of five wins in six games, but they're facing Joey Barton's Bristol Rovers who are fourth with an identical record as their hosts in their last six outings, but they can edge a tight tussle.
Exeter and Stevenage, two teams battling at different ends of the table, meet on Saturday, with Exeter second, and Stevenage 22nd. The Grecians have won three and drawn two of their last five, and have been miserly in defence in recent weeks. Stevenage have taken three points from a possible 27, and have scored just five goals in that time, so Exeter can win both halves in this one comfortably.
Finally, the flat season starts with the SBK Lincoln meeting at Doncaster, and Tom Collins says Garrus can do the business in the 1:50 SBK Cammidge Trophy Stakes. Charlie Hills seems to target his best six-furlong sprinter at this race - he ran Equilateral in 2019 and Royal Commando last year - and is represented by top-rated Garrus this time around. With form figures of 31211 when fresh and a perfect race set-up likely, Garrus is expected to make a winning return to action and get favourite-backers off to a good start as the turf flat season gets underway.
