Your essential guide to what to include in your weekend bet-builder, brought to you by SBK Betting Zone writers.
Landing a huge combination bet on the weekend is the ultimate dream for most of us, so look no further than our weekly guide to what you should be including in yours.
Let's start with the Premier League, and Greg Lea fancies Chelsea to hit a bit of form ahead of the FA Cup final, when they take on Wolves: "A home game against Wolves offers the Blues a good chance to get back on track. Bruno Lage’s side have gone off the boil of late, losing three games on the bounce without scoring a goal. Putting the ball in the back of the net has been an issue for Wolves all season long: only Watford, Norwich City and Burnley have scored fewer goals."
Staying in west London, Greg is also convinced that Brentford can cash in on Southampton's poor recent run: "Brentford were poor against Manchester United last time out, but they collected 10 points from the previous 12 available. Southampton, on the other hand, have just one win in their last nine matches, during which time they have conceded an average of 2.33 goals per game. Brentford can take advantage of the Saints’ leaky backline."
There's an unusually late kick-off on Saturday night, as Liverpool host Tottenham in a 7:45pm kick-off that's vital for both teams. Robin Bairner sees this as a BTTS banker: "Standout value appears on the both teams to score market. Seven of the last eight meetings between these clubs at Anfield have seen both teams hit the net, and after the 2-2 draw they shared earlier this season, the chances seem high of a repeat."
In the Championship, Ron Lewis likes West Brom's chances of signing off for the summer with a healthy win against already-relegated Barnsley: "Barnsley are going down with barely a whimper, as they are destined to finish bottom having not won a match since mid-March. It would be unlikely for Barnsley, who have lost their last four, to suddenly bounce back to life now, so West Brom can at least finish on a good note."
Finally, to Lingfield Park, where SBK are sponsoring four races, including the Derby Trial at 2:40, featuring Walk Of Stars: "This talented son of Dubawi has done nothing but impress in three career outings and is fancied to win the SBK Derby Trial at Lingfield for Charlie Appleby, who has a wealth of three-year-old talent in his stable," says our man Tom Collins. "He's a short price and looks the clear standout in this contest, so he's perfect for your weekend accumulator."
