Sunday's Premier League Odds17 February 2023
Manchester United and Tottenham are in action in Sunday’s Premier League double-header, and football tipster Peter Galindo has previewed both of their games and provided his best bets.
Kick-off: 2pm Sunday
There is no stopping Manchester United these days, at least domestically. Erik ten Hag’s men have lost just one (3-2 against Arsenal) of their last 10 Premier League matches, despite star midfielder Casemiro’s suspension and numerous injuries.
The Red Devils will face a Leicester City side who they have typically performed well against in recent times. United are undefeated in 12 of their last 13 home matches against The Foxes in all competitions, and also remain unbeaten at Old Trafford since their opening loss to Brighton.
Safe to say, then, that Man United should take home all three points in this match-up. However, there should be plenty of entertainment as there have been over 2.5 goals scored in Leicester's last three league games.
Prediction: Man United to win and Both teams to score @ 3.2
Kick-off: 4.30pm Sunday
Trying to predict Tottenham is an impossible task these days. There are inconsistencies everywhere, from winning three of their last seven to picking up as many defeats (three) as victories in their previous six home matches.
On the bright side for Spurs, centre back Cristian Romero returns following a ban and should reclaim his place in defence. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg missed the loss at AC Milan due to suspension and is set to start, but Hugo Lloris remains sidelined and key midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur has been ruled out until next season.
West Ham are also experiencing a minor injury crisis. Defender Nayef Aguerd and midfielder Lucas Paqueta were both forced off in last Saturday’s draw with Chelsea, although the former has a small chance of being available. Maxwel Cornet, Kurt Zouma and Alphonse Areola remain injured.
West Ham’s last four games have produced under 2.5 goals and Tottenham have seen over 2.5 goals in their last three home matches against West Ham in all competitions. Given the key injuries and Spurs’ propensity to concede in the first half, there should be goals early.
Prediction: First half the highest scoring @ 3.1
Manchester United v Leicester: Man United to win and Both teams to score @ 3.2
Tottenham v West Ham: First half the highest scoring @ 3.1
