Wow, we have barely caught our breath from another dramatic weekend of Premier League football and we are straight back into a full slate of midweek fixtures. We have four selections from Tuesday and Wednesday’s games for you.

Luton host Arsenal on the back of their 3-1 defeat Brentford but they will take solace in the fact that their last two performances at Kenilworth Road have been solid. Rob Edwards’ side were the favourites to be relegated before the start of the season but they find themselves just outside the drop zone coming into this round of fixtures. No side has travelled to Luton and won by a two-goal margin or more so far this season despite Liverpool and Tottenham coming to town. Edwards’ side are scoring 1.29 goals per home game and conceding 1.43 so we are backing Luton +1.5 on the Asian handicap market here.
Arsenal are top of the league and will be delighted with the start they have made. However, they don’t carry the same level of attacking threat as they did last season and they have won just one of their six away matches in the Premier by the margin required for this bet to lose.
Tip: Luton Asian Handicap +1.5 at 2.28

Brighton suffered a setback at the weekend. They were beaten 3-2 by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge despite having a man advantage for a large period of the match. This season has been far from plain sailing for the Seagulls but there have been glimpses of what made them so formidable last season. Brighton have remained a threat going forward and are averaging 2.14 goals per game in the league. However, their defence has been a problem and they are still awaiting their first Premier League clean sheet after 14 matches.
Brentford earned a point in a 3-3 draw at this ground last season. Their league matches this season have seen an average of 2.93 goals per game so I’m happy to bet both teams to score and over 2.5 goals in the match at 1.93.
Tip: Both Teams To Score & Over 2.5 Goals In The Match at 1.93

Sheffield United have proven to be the whipping boys of the division so far and the weekend’s 5-0 defeat against Burnley is arguably a new low. They have lost 11 of their 14 Premier League matches and their opponents are averaging 2.79 goals per game so I’m backing the visitors to win by at least three goals by betting Liverpool -2 on the Asian handicap market. This means we get our stake back should Klopp’s side win by two.
Liverpool carry plenty of attacking threat this season and they are capable of putting the Blades to the sword. They scored four past Fulham at the weekend and will be keen to iron out the defensive issues that made that win so difficult. Klopp’s men trail Arsenal by two points in the table and the Gunners have already beaten Sheffield United 5-0 this season.
Tip: Liverpool Asian Handicap - 2.0 at 1.90

Aston Villa’s Premier League matches are averaging the second most goals of any side with an average of 3.79 per game. This increases to 4.67 goals per game in their matches at Villa Park. There has been at least four goals in all six of their league matches on home turf.
Manchester City were condemned to a third consecutive draw in the league when they drew 3-3 with Tottenham on Sunday. Pep Guardiola’s side created a wealth of chances but were unable to make their superiority count in terms of the scoreline. City’s last away match was an enthralling 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge so over 3.5 goals looks a good bet here.
Tip: Over 3.5 goals in the match at 2.16
Back Luton Asian Handicap +1.5 v Arsenal @ 2.28
Back BTTS and over 2.5 goals in Brighton v Brentford @ 1.93
Back Liverpool Asian Handicap -2.0 v Sheffield United @ 1.90
Back over 3.5 goals in Aston Villa v Manchester City @ 2.16
