10 March 2022

We could be in store for another thrilling weekend of Premier League action with key games at both ends of the top flight. Here’s our selection of the best bets.

Brighton and Hove Albion v Liverpool

Saturday 12 March, 12:30pm, BT Sport 1

The Seagulls come into the game on the back of four straight defeats. They last won at the Amex Stadium against Brentford on Boxing Day and with two wins in the last 10 league games, Graham Potter’s side can be thankful they accumulated plenty of points in the early stages of the season. They came from two goals down to force a 2-2 draw at Anfield in October, and a draw is at 4.6 while a Brighton win is at 6.6.

The Reds have the chance to go within three points of leaders Manchester City who play on Monday night. Jurgen Klopp’s side progressed to the last eight of the Champions League in midweek despite defeat to Inter Milan. They are at 1.52 to win and, with Brighton having scored once in five games, Liverpool are at 2.56 to win to nil. Sadio Mane has scored four in three league games and is 2.18 to score anytime.

Recommended bet: Liverpool win to nil @ 2.56

Brentford vs Burnley

Saturday 12 March, 3:00pm

Last weekend’s victory at Norwich was Brentford’s first win in nine league attempts. During that time they took one point, and are still hovering precariously above the drop zone. Christian Eriksen pulled the strings in midfield on his full debut as Ivan Toney grabbed the headlines with a hat-trick. Toney is at 2.28 to score anytime with Brentford 2.2 for the win.

The Clarets’ momentum has stalled in recent matches and they come into the game on the back of two straight losses. They have drawn 12 matches – the joint most in the division – and a stalemate is at 3.2 with Burnley 3.8 for the win.

Recommended bet: Draw @ 3.2

Everton manager Frank Lampard will be desperate for a win against Wolves after a tough start to his Goodison Park reign

Everton vs Wolves

Sunday 13 March, 2:00pm

The Toffees were abject during their 5-0 loss to Tottenham on Monday night and are playing for their Premier League lives. They have won once in 10 league games and have lost the last three without scoring.

They are facing a Wolves side who put behind them recent stutters to thump Watford 4-0 on Thursday night. A home win is at 2.26 with a draw 3.1. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is still looking for his first goal on his return from injury and is 2.48 to score anytime.

Wolves’ bid for European football is not over yet, and they are at 3.1 for the win. Neither side is prolific and under 2.5 goals is1.6.

Recommended bet: Calvert-Lewin anytime @ 2.48

Crystal Palace vs Manchester City

Monday 14 March, 8:00pm, Sky Sports Main Event

Patrick Vieira said Crystal Palace’s first-half display during the 2-0 win at Wolves last time out was the best they played all season. Conor Gallagher, Michael Olise and Wilfried Zaha all shone while Jean-Philippe Mateta has scored four in eight starts.  He is at 5.6 to score anytime. Palace won at the Etihad earlier this season and they are at 10.5 for a repeat while the draw is 5.7.

City know Liverpool are breathing down their necks and they have had an extra couple of days of rest following their midweek Champions League draw against Sporting.

They were back among the goals against Manchester United, and City to win/over 2.5 goals is at 1.81while City to win and both teams to score is at 2.88. Joint top scorer Riyad Mahrez netted twice in the Manchester derby, and he is at 2.02 to score anytime.

Recommended bet: City/BTTS @ 2.88.

Liverpool win to nil @ 2.56

Brentford Draw @ 3.2

Calvert-Lewin anytime @ 2.48

City/BTTS @ 2.88
