As the finish line edges closer the title race is hotting up. We have five tips for this weekend's Premier League action wrapped up in this tipsheet.

Manchester United vs Fulham

Kick-off: 15:00 Saturday

Has Erik ten Hag sorted things out at Manchester United?

The Red Devils have now gone seven games undefeated, winning six of those and taking 13 points from the 15 on offer in the Premier League.

Granted, the schedule has been kind but top flight fixtures do not come much easier then their next match vs Fulham.

The Cottagers are the second worst side in the division away from home.

Of the 29 points Marco Silva’s side have won, 22 have been won on home soil. On the road, they have played 12, won one and drew three.

Prediction: Manchester United Asian Handicap (-1) @ 1.90

Brighton vs Everton

Kick-off: 15:00 Saturday

Everton welcomed back Abdoulaye Doucoure in Monday’s draw with Crystal Palace, welcome news for the Toffees faithful.

The midfielder is crucial to how Sean Dyche’s side play and his return to fitness could prove just the fillip this struggling side needs.

Everton’s poor run correlates with Doucoure’s absence.

Prior to Monday’s game, he only played one of Everton’s previous seven league matches. Without him, the Toffees only picked up two points from a possible 21, a staggering change in fortune considering they picked up 16 points from the previous 21 on offer with Doucoure fit.

Assuming he is fit for the trip to Brighton, backing the visitors to win looks value.

Prediction: Everton to beat Brighton @ 4.20

Arsenal vs Newcastle

Kick-off: 20:00 Saturday, TNT Sports 1

No doubt Arsenal will be fuelled by the injustice in the manner of Newcastle’s win in the reverse fixture.

The decision to award Anthony Gordon’s much scrutinised winner was dubbed a disgrace by Gunners boss Mikel Arteta. The Spaniard may lean on that for motivation on Saturday evening which the hosts may need after a meagre display against Porto in midweek.

The Gunners failed to muster a shot on target in their Champions League quarter final clash and I could see another toothless display at the Emirates.

This was the case in the sides latest clash at North London where the deadlock was not broken. This was not Arsenal’s doing though.

Newcastle came with a clear game plan and executed it almost to perfection as the ball was only in play for 53 minutes.

I expect a similar story on Saturday which is why siding with under 2.5 goals appeals.

Prediction: Under 2.5 Goals @ 2.86

Wolves vs Sheffield United

Kick-off: 13:30 Sunday, Sky Sports

Sheffield United head to the Molineux three off a 5-0 thumping at home to Brighton. It means the opposition have netted at least five times in a quarter of Sheffield United’s 25 league games this term.

Yes, Mason Holgates sending off had an impact on last Sunday’s game but with 65 goals conceded, the most in the division by some distance, it makes sense to side with Wolves goals in some capacity.

Hwang Hee-Chan returned to spearhead Wanderers attack in his side's win over Tottenham last weekend. It was the South Korean's first appearance of 2024.

He tops his sides charts for goal contributions with nine goals and six assists and with him expected to start upfront on Sunday, backing him for a hattrick.

Prediction: Hwang Hee-Chan Hattrick @ 46.00

West Ham vs Brentford

Kick-off: 20:00 Monday, Sky Sports

Brentford will have to hope Ivan Toney can continue to score at a quicker rate then the Bees defence ship goals. This is the only way Brentford are going to street clear of the relegation zone.

Thomas Frank is without Ethan Pinnock again on Monday. The centre back has missed the last two games and his understudies have not been up to scratch.

Record signing Nathan Collins filled in against Liverpool and his error led to one of the goals. Collins was then dropped for the trip to the Etihad where it was Krisoffer Ajer’s turn to give the opposition a goal.

Frank does not have a settled back line, there should be goals on Monday.

Prediction: Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.77
