The footballing gods have given us a three-horse title race with Arsenal and Manchester City hot on the heels of leaders Liverpool. All three are in action this weekend and with plenty of twists and turns guaranteed before May we have five Premier League tips for this weekend's action.

Brentford vs Liverpool

Kick-off: 12:30 Saturday, TNT Sports 1

Liverpool maintained their two goal cushion at the top of the league with the 3-1 win over Burnley last weekend. It was not as routine a victory as the score suggests though, after a sluggish Reds start, they were a little fortunate to find themselves a goal up courtesy of Diogo Jota’s head.

Nevertheless, they got the job done meaning Jurgen Klopp’s side have only lost one of their last 13 games in all competitions, reaching the League Cup final and latter stages of the FA Cup over that period.

Liverpool’s defence is not as assured as the statistics would have you believe. The Reds have conceded in each of their last five games, so whilst they should win in London, backing them to do so and both teams to score appeals.

Prediction: Liverpool Win & BTTS @ 3.0

Burnley vs Arsenal

Kick-off: 15:00 Saturday, TNT Sports 1

How quickly things can change in football. Defeat against Liverpool in Arsenal’s game before last would have all but ruled them out of the title race.

The Gunners beat Liverpool though and did so convincingly. What’s more that victory came amidst a 5-0 thumping of Crystal Palace and hitting West Ham for six.

On paper, this trip to Turf Moor is their easiest game off the month and though the odds reflect that, given Mikel Arteta’s side's insatiable form I think it is worth taking them on the handicap.

A two goal handicap means stakes are returned if they win by a two goal margin, if they win by more the bet is a winner.

Prediction: Arsenal Asian Handicap (-1.5) @ 1.87

Manchester City vs Chelsea

Kick-off: 17:30 Saturday, Sky Sports

Who can get a read on Chelsea this season?

They are yet to string four wins together but are in the FA Cup quarter finals, the League Cup final and maybe, just maybe they are turning a corner.

The Blues have won their last two games 3-1, the first at Villa Park and the second at Selhurst Park. What is more Maurichio Pochettino’s side showed great character in Monday’s victory coming from a goal behind to beat their London rivals thanks to two late goals.

It will stand them in good stead for the trip to the Etihad and whilst they will certainly pose a threat, it is tough to see the visitors returning south with anything.

Manchester City were in European action on Tuesday but boast a full complement of players this weekend. Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland started together for only the third time this season and with both expected to start on Saturday, Man City edging a goal-laden clash is the bet.

Prediction: Man City Win & BTTS @ 2.76

Sheffield United vs Brighton

Kick-off: 14:30 Sunday, Sky Sports

Sheffield United host Brighton in the first instalment of Super Sunday. The sides recently met at Bramall Lane in the FA Cup, a seven-goal thriller heavily in the favour of the visitors and at odds on, the bookies are expecting a similar story this weekend.

Brighton are odds on to score at least two goals and with good reason. The Seagulls have averaged 1.9 goals a game domestically and the Blades have conceded the most goals in the division (60).

Pervis Estupinan’s price is the standout for the visitors. The full back has had a hand in six goals this season, netting three times and averages 0.8 shots per game in the top flight,

Prediction: Pervis Estupinan Anytime Goalscorer @ 10.0

Luton vs Manchester United

Kick-off: 16:30 Sunday, Sky Sports

Ross Barkley’s renaissance has been some watch.

He has revolutionised his game, taking the mercurial speed on the ball and dribbling we were used to at Everton and combining it with defensive output. He is Luton’s maestro, topping their charts for shots (2.3) and passes (40.9) but also completes 1.7 tackles, registered three assists and scored three.

At 6.00, it is his price to find the net against Manchester United that interests me here.

All three of Barkley’s goals came at Kenilworth Road and that came in big fixtures against Chelsea, Newcastle and Arsenal. Having been somewhat of a prodigy, he must see these big fixtures at the Kenny as an opportunity to prove he can still perform against the best sides in the land.

Prediction: Ross Barkley Anytime Goalscorer @ 6.0
