Premier League Betting Tips: Four selections for this weekend's matches

15 March 2024

With the FA Cup quarter-finals this weekend, the Premier League’s slate is reduced to four fixtures but we have a tip for each in the following tipsheet.

Burnley vs Brentford

Kick-off: 15:00 Saturday

With two of Thomas Frank’s first-choice defenders ruled out for the foreseeable future, goals look the best way in at Turf Moor.

Ben Mee and Ethan Pinnock are ruled out of this clash and in their absence, the Bees have really struggled to keep the opposition at bay.

Pinnock has not played in any of his side's last five games and over that period Brentford have not kept a clean sheet, shipping 13 goals in that period.

With Ivan Toney and a fit and firing Yoane Wissa upfront, Saturday’s visitors will always pose a threat and this is why backing goals appeals.

Prediction: BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals @ 2.12

Luton vs Nottingham Forest

Kick-off: 15:00 Saturday

It is a little bit of a gamble on if he’ll start but Jordan Clarke’s price to be shown a card simply looks too big this weekend.

Context is key here, Luton host Nottingham Forest in a crucial game at the foot of the Premier League table, victory will move them level on points with Forest with nine games of the season to play.

With an ever growing list of absentees for the Hatters, Clarke has featured in a slightly deeper role recently picking up a booking in his most recent appearance.

In all competitions this term, Clarke has five cards and this is despite only starting eight games.

Prediction: Jordan Clarke to be carded @ 6.40

Fulham vs Tottenham

Kick-off: 17:30 Saturday, Sky Sports Premier League

Tottenham’s price at Craven Cottage certainly appeals.

The visitors almost have a full complement of players back at their disposal. Heung-min Son will spearhead the attack with James Maddison in behind and Dejan Kulusevski and Brennan Johnson on the flanks.

Pape Sarr is back alongside Yves Bissouma in the engine room and Pedro Porro at full back.

Although Fulham rank eighth for points taken at home in the top flight, Tottenham have been insatiable recently taking maximum points from their last two games which includes netting four at Villa Park.

Prediction: Tottenham Win @ 2.08

West Ham vs Aston Villa

Kick-off: 14:00 Sunday

It is back to domestic duty after the pair of these sides won convincingly in Europe on Thursday.

West Ham put five past Freiburg in the Europa League while Aston Villa hit Ajax for four in the Conference as the pair reached the quarters of each respective competition.

Mohammed Kudus netted a late brace on Thursday taking him to 13 goals for the campaign.

With a goals per 90 average of 0.34, I think his price to net on Sunday is too large.

Prediction: Mohammed Kudus Anytime Goalscorer @ 3.75
