This looks a bit awkward from a punting point of view.
I’m not keen on Southampton’s chances of survival after a poor start which has brought three straight defeats with just one goal scored. So, it’s no surprise to see them out at 4.8 for this one.
Yet backing this United side at odds-on also carries little appeal. They’ve lost two of three so far and while those defeats have come against better opposition than this, the pressure is already mounting on Erik ten Hag and his players.
New signing Manuel Ugarte should improve the midfield – as long as he’s over his midweek flight back from South America – and with Bruno Fernandes always looking to create, it’s not all doom and gloom.
Fernandes to score or assist looks the bet here against a defence which isn’t the best.
He landed this in both matches for Portugal during the international break and seven of the last 10 Premier League games of last season.
Even money seems OK in a game I’m otherwise struggling to find an angle for.
Prediction: Bruno Fernandes to score or assist @ 1.98

Morgan Rogers has impressed for Villa so far this season without managing a goal or assist. That could change here.
Everton have already shipped 10 goals, including three late on against Bournemouth, a defeat which must have left considerable concerns about relegation – again – throughout the club.
With confidence at a low ebb, a trip to Villa Park, where they have collected one point from their last five visits, conceding 11, is far from ideal and Rogers can take advantage.
He’s been playing alongside Ollie Watkins up front but the England man missed the recent internationals and hasn’t scored in eight Premier League games.
Rogers netted twice for England Under-21s against Austria last week and looks worth backing at 2.78 to score in this one.
Prediction: Morgan Rogers anytime scorer @ 2.78

Chelsea won 6-2 at Wolves in their last away game but it remains their only Premier League victory after three games.
And while the scoreline was certainly memorable that day, it’s worth remembering that the expected-goals figures had lowly Wolves as the winners.
Bournemouth are a better side than Wolves and they come into this one unbeaten so far, thanks to an historic comeback from 2-0 down at Everton last time out.
Antoine Semenyo was a winner for this column in that game and he remains in fine form, helping the Cherries get over the sale of Dominic Solanke to Spurs.
Chelsea seem overrated here and the hosts look a tempting price in the double-chance market at 1.86, meaning you’ll profit if they avoid defeat.
Prediction: Bournemouth/Draw double chance @ 1.86

Card bets in derbies regularly give you a run for your money and I’m happy to back Kai Havertz for one here.
He’s now been booked in three of his last four appearances against Spurs with both his current club Arsenal and former employers Chelsea having strong rivalry with the men from N17.
Arsenal have received the most cards so far in this season’s Premier League, while only Forest have committed more fouls (Havertz with seven of them), so referee Jarred Gillett should be kept on his toes.
Gillett was one of the better refs for cards last season, averaging 4.57 yellows per game. So far this term, he’s shown 10 in two games. All looks good.
Prediction: Kai Havertz to be carded @ 3.05

Andre has been picked out as one of the signings of the summer in some quarters and the midfielder may get his first start for Wolves here.
The Brazilian midfielder, who started both games for his country last week, was something of a card magnet in his Fluminense days with fouls often committed.
It would be no surprise were the pace of the Premier League to cause him a few problems in his early games and in this one he’s also going to be up against the top flight’s most-fouled player of last season, Bruno Guimaraes.
The card market looks clued up with Andre just 2.42 but he’s also offered at 2.2 for 2+ fouls which looks to provide much better value.
Prediction: Andre 2+ fouls @ 2.20
Bruno Fernandes to score or assist in Southampton v Man Utd @ 1.98
Morgan Rogers anytime scorer in Aston Villa v Everton @ 2.78
Bournemouth/Draw double chance v Chelsea @ 1.86
Kai Havertz to be carded in Tottenham v Arsenal @ 3.05
Andre 2+ fouls in Wolves v Newcastle @ 2.20
