After a week full of football from European action to THAT Monday night game, between Tottenham and Chelsea, our attentions turn back to the Premier League.

Wolves vs Spurs

Kick-off: 12:30 Saturday, TNT Sports

Gary O’Niel felt his side were on the receiving end of another soft penalty in their last game and he may have a point. It meant Wolves have only won one point from the last six available after Ollie Norwood dispatched the last gasp penalty to send Wanderers back to Black Country empty handed.

The hosts fare better against possession heavy sides though, particularly on their own patch. Wolves are only one of two teams to beat Manchester City in the league this season, they have also picked up points against Aston Villa, Bournemouth and Newcastle recently.

Tottenham is next on the roster and with a lengthy list of absentees to contend with, not least their creator in chief James Maddison, a result at the Molineux is not a foregone conclusion for Ange Postecoglou.

Prediction: Wolves win/draw double chance @ 1.7

Arsenal vs Burnley

Kick-off: 15:00 Saturday

Arsenal host Burnley on Saturday afternoon and siding with the hosts to overcome a -2 asian handicap makes a lot of sense. The Gunners remain unbeaten at the Emirates, seven games and five wins.

Only for the visit of Man City did Mikel Arteta’s side go off at odds over even money (3.00 to be exact). Against Sheffield United, a side of a similar calibre to Burnley, Arsenal went off at 1.13 and won 5-0.

The Clarets have scored the fewest goals in the division and conceded an average of 2.45 per game. It is also worth noting that Manchester City, Tottenham, Chelsea, Brentford and Everton have overcome this handicap this campaign.

Prediction: Arsenal Asian Handicap (-2) @ 1.9

Manchester United vs Luton

Kick-off: 15:00 Saturday

It is a circus at Manchester United at the moment. From poor results on the pitch, too mischievous birthday parties off it, scrutiny transcends Old Trafford. Erik ten Hag leads the sack race, the respite his side earned with a last gasp winner at Craven Cottage last weekend has gone after the Red Devils lost out in a seven goal thriller in Copenhagen on Wednesday.

With five defeats in their last nine and the international break looming, Man Utd’s game with ante-post favourites Luton really is a must win. The Hatters have proven they are no pushovers though. Rob Edwards' side were seconds away from a momentous win over Liverpool last Sunday and have proved to be a thorn in the sides of most teams this campaign.

Eight of Luton’s 13 games have been all square at half time and this is the play here at what promises to be a nervy Greater Manchester.

Prediction: Half time draw @ 2.8

Aston Villa vs Fulham

Kick-off: 14:00 Sunday

Aston Villa gained control of their group on the continent with a victory AZ Alkmaar in the Europa Conference League on Thursday. After the Villans went behind, Unai Emery was forced to bring on the big hitters to turn the tide and make it 15 victories in 16 games at Villa Park.

This season, Villa have been imperious at home. Five games, five wins, 20 scored and only four conceded. No Premier League side has won more points on their own turf (15) and in each of those victories Villa have covered the -1 handicap. For added security the asian line is the bet here.

Prediction: Aston Villa Asian Handicap (-1) @ 1.93

Chelsea vs Man City

Kick-off: 16:30 Sunday, Sky Sports

It has been a catastrophic season for Erling Haaland. Just the 11 goals domestically and four on the continent, he really looks to be struggling without his maestro Kevin De Bruyne putting them on a plate for him.

Ahh not really but Haaland has cut a frustrated figure at times. He tops the top flight charts for ‘big chances’ (xG greater than 0.30) missed which suggests the Norwegian is yet to hit his top gear. Scary considering he has 18 goals for club and country already.

Haaland has hit braces in three of his last four but at a chunky price I think it is worth a punt on him going one better at Stamford Bridge by backing him to take home the match ball.

Prediction: Erling Haaland to score a hattrick @ 17.0
