FA Cup quarter-final weekend is here, the eight remaining teams will battle it out across the weekend for the chance to play at Wembley.

Wolves vs Coventry

Saturday 16th March, 12:15

Gary O’Neil has done a sterling job at Wolves. He took over when the club looked to be in turmoil. They are now in the top half of the Premier League and have a great chance to make it to the FA Cup semi-finals when they face Coventry. We are backing them to win this match against the playoff-chasing Sky Blues.

Wolves have won their last three matches at Molineux and have conceded just one goal in the process. Their home form has been strong this season. They have lost just four of their 19 matches in front of their own fans.

Coventry haven’t won any of their last five away matches in cup competitions. Mark Robins’ side have won just seven of their 21 away matches this season and the step up in quality of the opposition should prove too much.

Recommended Bet: Wolves to win at 1.68

Manchester City vs Newcastle

Saturday 16th March, 17:30

It’s hard to look past Manchester City in any game they play but that is particularly true when they play at the Etihad. They haven’t lost a home game across all competitions this season and they face a Newcastle side that are struggling to find their best form.

Eddie Howe’s side have looked shaky in defence in their recent away matches so we are betting Manchester City to win this match by at least two goals. The Magpies are conceding an average of 2.29 goals per away game in the league this season. Only Luton have let more in.

Pep Guardiola’s side beat Luton 6-2 in the last round and have won their last two matches at the Etihad by a margin of two goals or greater. This bet has won in five of Manchester City’s home matches in 2024.

Recommended Bet: Manchester City -1.5 Asian handicap at 1.70

Chelsea vs Leicester

Sunday 17th March. 12:45

Chelsea have the chance to put their League Cup disappointment behind them and go for glory in the FA Cup. They are currently enduring their longest trophy drought since 2003.

Leicester are in danger of losing their automatic promotion place. They looked home and hosed a couple of months ago but a poor run of results means that Leeds could overtake them at the top of the Championship when the Foxes play in the FA Cup this weekend.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side beat Leeds 3-2 at Stamford Bridge in the last round and we should see plenty of goals as they take on another of the second tier’s promotion contenders.  Chelsea’s home matches have seen an average of 3.1 goals with the Blues contributing with 1.9 of those.

Enzo Maresca’s men have scored in nine of their last 10 games away from the King Power Stadium and are averaging two goals per away match this season.

Recommended Bet: Both teams to score at 1.74

Manchester United vs Liverpool

Sunday 17th March, 15:30

Manchester United are up against it when they welcome their biggest rivals to Old Trafford. Liverpool are chasing three more trophies after lifting the League Cup last month. United, on the other hand, hold slender hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.

Erik Ten Hag’s side have been affording their opponents plenty of opportunities in 2024. They are conceding just short of 20 shots per game so Liverpool’s attack will be relishing the prospect of this clash.

Klopp’s side have won eight of their last nine matches and the performances have been strong despite an injury crisis. United have also had plenty of injuries to contend with but the drop-off in quality has been evident. Therefore, I’m banking on Liverpool emerging victorious on Sunday.

Recommended Bet: Liverpool to win at 1.78
