After tomorrow night’s matches we will know who is going to be playing in the knockout stages of both the Europa League and Conference League and by Friday lunchtime we will know who is playing who.

We have four tips for Thursday night’s action.

Marseille vs Shakhtar Donetsk

20:00, TNT Sports

The tie is all square heading into the second leg but Marseille have the crucial home advantage. The French side thought they had snatched victory when Iliman Ndiaye scored in the 90th-minute goals but Shakhtar grabbed an equaliser a couple of minutes later. That game finished 2-2 and we are backing both teams to score once again. Both teams have scored in Marseille’s last four home matches. The bet has also won in their last six European matches at the Stade Velodrome.

Shakhtar Donetsk got to this stage of the Europa League by dropping out of their Champions League group. Both teams scored in all three of their away matches in that competition with an average of 5.33 goals. They managed to find the back of the net at the Camp Nou so I expect to see plenty of attacking impetus against Marseille.

Tip: Both teams to score at 1.78

Sparta Prague vs Galatasaray

20:00, TNT Sports

The first leg of this tie was a goal fest and we should see plenty of goalmouth action once again. Sparta Prague are unbeaten in their last 20 home matches but they start a goal behind here. They are averaging 2.56 goals during that exceptional run in front of their own fans.

Galatasaray got into the Europa League at the expense of Manchester United. They have won their last 10 matches across all competitions, scoring an average of three goals per game in the process. Mauro Icardi and Co. look unstoppable at the moment. The Argentine was able to snatch victory for the Turkish side in the first leg and he will take some stopping once again.

Tip: Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals at 1.88

Roma vs Feyenoord

20:00, TNT Sports

These sides shared the spoils in the first leg but we are betting on Roma to get the job done in 90 minutes on Thursday night. Roma’s defeat to Inter Milan in their last home match was their only defeat in their last 15 matches at the Stadio Olimpico. They have won their last eight European matches at home, conceding just 0.25 goals per game in the process.

Feyenoord are in fantastic form. They are unbeaten in their last nine match and they boast a stellar defensive record of their own. However, their recent record away in Europe has been poor. Arne Slot’s men have failed to win any of their last 10 European matches on the road. That run has consisted of games in the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League.

Tip: Roma to win at 2.14

Sporting Lisbon vs Young Boys

20:00, TNT Sports

Sporting won the away leg 3-1 but don’t expect them to rest on their laurels. Ruben Amorim has his side playing some fantastic football and he will no doubt catch the attention of some of Europe’s wealthiest clubs in the near future. His team have won 16 of their 17 home matches this season. Over that period, they are averaging 2.76 more goals per game than their opponents. Their last match at the Estadio Jose Alvalade was an emphatic 5-0 win over Braga.

Young Boys are top of the Swiss Super League but they don’t have a great record on the road. They have won just eight of their 19 away matches across all competitions.

Tip: Sporting -1.5 Asian handicap at 1.89
