After a meteoric rise to the Bundesliga and Champions League in Germany, the bubble looks to have burst for Union Berlin this campaign. The Iron Ones won their opening three games of the campaign but have not picked up a result since, that is 12 games, 12 defeats and 26 goals conceded.
It leaves Urs Fischer’s sides one point above the foot of the table domestically and rock bottom in Champions League Group C. Only a win would see the visitors stand any chance of prolonging their maiden UCL campaign.
The three defeats in their opening three games on the continent does not tell the full story. Plucky defensive displays have been undone by a lack of quality upfront, siding with a lack of goals once more in this fixture is the play.
Prediction: Under 2.5 goals @ 2.2
Kick-off: 20:00 Wednesday, TNT Sports 4
Despite only joining in the summer Jude Bellingham has made such an impact in Madrid, it will be interesting to see how Real Madrid cope without him against Braga.
With qualification aspirations of their own to maintain, the Portuguese side cannot hold out for a point in the Spanish capital which should set up a goal laden clash.
Joselu should get the nod in the Englishman’s absence, the frontman has scored five times in six La Liga starts this campaign. He also racked up 11 (yes 11) shots and an xG of 1.19 against Union Berlin.
Prediction: Mato Joselu to score @ 2.2

Bayern Munich are imperious at home scoring at least two in all bar one of their last 15 games at the Allianz Arena. In this competition, they have bagged nine times in three games, four of which coming in their home fixture with Manchester United. It is also worth noting Galatasaray's last five Champions League visits to Germany have seen a total of 22 goals.
The hosts are heavily odds on to win on Wednesday and marginally shorter to score at least two goals, backing them to overcome a two goal handicap on the asian line is the play here. We have the added security that if the German champions win by two goals, we get the stakes back.
Prediction: Bayern Munich Asian Handicap (-2) @ 1.83

Salzburg still have a chance of Group D qualification, they are four points behind Inter and Real Sociedad and welcome the former to Austria on Wednesday.
At the San Siro, it took a Hakan Calhanoglu penalty to edge past Salzburg but Gerhard Struber’s side were unfortunate. They have racked up an xG of 4.5 across their three UCL games, underperforming that metric by scoring three goals.
Defensively, they have only kept one clean sheet but have been fortunate to concede four goals, shipping an xGA of 5.1.
With Salzburg underperforming offensively and conceding fewer than they should have defensively, both teams to score looks a bet here.
Prediction: Both teams to score @ 1.87
Kick-off: 20:00 Wednesday, TNT Sports 2
It may be daft to tip a player to be carded when said player is almost certainly not going to start but Erik Lamela’a price to be booked is irresistible for a few reasons.
The first is narrative. For those unaware, the Argentine used to play for Arsenal’s North London rivals Tottenham and in his last visit to the Emirates, Lamela was sent off. He was also booked when these sides met in the reverse, taking his cards tally to five in 11 appearances this campaign.
The second reason is Lamela’s poor disciplinary record. Since making the switch to Spain, he has picked up 29 cards in 84 appearances.
Prediction: Erik Lamela to be shown a card @ 2.86
Back Under 2.5 goals @ 2.2
Back Mato Joselu to score @ 2.2
Back Bayern Munich Asian Handicap (-2) @ 1.83
Back BTTS in Salzburg vs Inter @ 1.87
Back Erik Lamela to be shown a card @ 2.86
